Sorry for the short notice but if we can do this Sun 8/31 or Mon 9/1 I’m in anytime of day. I don’t think we’ve ever drafted on LD weekend, but I can at least pay attention to (try to) draft while paying attention.

I’m noticing some difficulties. If the draft is changed to Sunday or Monday (which seems the best option), that is very short notice to even the people already signed up; and the league is only half full right now. Is there a possibility that this is not going to happen this year?
I’m afraid so. Hate to see it die, but it doesn’t look good. I got one PM from a lurker that said he wanted to play, and could bring a friend, but when I asked for an email address to send an invite, I did not hear back from him.
Not sure what to do at this point. I’m not in any other leagues. I guess I could join one or two of those random leagues at Yahoo, but they tend to end up with maybe 3 guys actually playing the whole season…

I will play, I’ve recreated a Yahoo account. One more league won’t hurt, not sure how I’ll handle the draft, I’m working nights for the next few weeks.
Invite sent to GOsp3l, which will bring us up to 6. If Uncle Brother Walker and RNATB join, we’ll have 8. Think Yahoo will let us go with that, but I’d like to have 10 if possible.
How about we plan the draft for 6:00 PM Central on Monday? Any objections?
I can do 600 PM central. I’m on a three day weekend, so hopefully I’ll still be sober so I can pick well :rolleyes:

Something weird just happened. Three teams signed up today, all named some variant of “Alex’s team”. Anybody know who this is?
The Alex issue has been resolved. I deleted two of his teams, leaving him with one. Three spots are left, which I expect to be claimed by** Motu**, RNATB, and Uncle Brother Walker.
Motu is in, I just heard from** Uncle,** he’s in. Still need to hear from RNATB to fill the last spot.
I can’t do tonight. Been on vacay and I’m flying home right now.
ACK! That gives us a problem…when Uncle joins, we will have 9, and we have to have an even number to draft…
