Republicans had excuses for denying the legitimacy of Bill Clinton’s presidency (“He never had a majority! Perot was a spoiler!”) as well as Obama’s (“Muslim! Kenyan anti-colonialist!”). I don’t think they know how to regard the opposing party any other way anymore. They’ll say that since any Republican other than Trump would have (supposedly) beaten her, that she doesn’t really have a mandate to be president, or that she’s so corrupt that merely occupying the Oval Office is tantamount to an impeachable offense. Point is, they’ll find something.
We’ve been repeatedly treated, in this forum, by its most notable GOP loyalist, to the claim that her only qualification is having been married to Bubba. And she’ll be indicted any day now, for something.
We’ve also been treated, in this forum, by a notable Bro, to the assertion that she’s a corporate whore, and that those who voted for her are all deluded.
If they have to make up stuff about you, you’re doing all right.
She’ll be guilty of GWF
Governing While Female.
O
I swear to God, I’m starting to think DerekMichaels is a left wing plant. He posts the most strange things, and them backs them up with a link that says the direct opposite of his point. It’s like he is TRYING to make the right-wing look bad.
We covered this. She’s the Whore of Babylon.
And a lesbian. Or so we’ve been told.
I’m merely just a Democrat who is scared of the party leaving me by becoming too left-wing and forgetting the center.
Riiiiight.
A Democrat that hates Obama, hates Hillary, hates pretty much every other person in the party…
You’re just not very good at this are you?
As I said before - you’re not fooling anyone.
weird because most of my posts about Hillary and Bill are rather positive, in case you missed it. I’ve been the biggest Clinton fan on this site since I joined.
You just have some … concerns. We know.
(snicker)
why is it almost a sin that a person can believe in protecting the environment, believe in abortion rights, believe in gay rights, believe in a progressive tax system, but dissent with Obama on his foreign policy and find Sanders objectionable? Why does that make me into automatically a Republican? This kind of illiberal intolerance is the kind of thing I’d expect of conservatives when someone criticizes Reagan.
No response to the fact that I’ve been a defender and promoter of the Clintons since I joined? I’ve supported her the whole way or leaned towards her the whole time, and since Max Boot endorsed her, I think I can say firmly I’m With Her. I don’t even hate Obama; I simply think his worldview is off.
Cite?
A lesbian who was also having an affair with Vince Foster!
You’ve been shown again and again that your assertions about his worldview are based on fantasy, and not anything he actually said or did. The fact that you insisted on repeating his middle name again and again for no discernible reason suggests that your dislike of the man is about something fundamental to his identity – who he is, rather than anything he’s actually done.
Too late, the Party has already left us.
I was also a life-long Dem, but nobody here believes it because I’m not a flaming liberal that blindly believes and agrees with everything the left dreams up. Now they define society as a hierarchy of “victim” groups, all oppressed by us evil straight white males, extra evil if our ancestors came here from England before this was a Country.
So, divisive? Of course!
Perhaps this accurately describes the fantasy Democratic party that exists in the heads of radio talk show hosts, but it certainly doesn’t describe any major political party that exists in the real world.
What, exactly, has President Obama said or done that you find “divisive”? (Aside from not being totally white, that is.)
What other official Democratic policies offend you? Not just phrases you picked up at Fox–let’s have some cites!
(My ancestors were blazingly white–but most of them came from The Other Island. Even the few here before the Revolution, who came from the Northern section of that island.)
