The thing I’m curious about is - it’s being reported that the ID was confirmed by DNA. In wondering exactly where they got the baseline sample from which to compare it?

It’s probably hard to find a way to spin it for their population. As the BBC obituary says,
Bin Laden has been estranged from his family, including some of his children, for some time. I don’t think it was difficult to come up with DNA.
That said, if this happened today, as is now reported, DNA has nothing to do with it.

When 3000 of our countrymen get killed, the President’s supposed to do something about it. It’s bad business to let the killer get away with it, bad all around, bad for every American everywhere.
