Obama steps in it again

I was going to post a long gripe about this, but I think I will just let it stand for itself. The absolute idiocy behind this line of thinking astounds me.

Your timing is impeccable.

Current thread.

Obama has already listened to his advisors and decided he was wrong.

Oh, the horrors, a President who is willing to listen and learn.

Week after week after week…what is it, three whole months now? How long, oh Lord, how long?!

[del]Lyn[/del]Impeach the bastard already!

I’m starting the pool for when Clothahump comes back to the thread and makes any sort of conciliatory remark, either “Dang, I didn’t see the other thread,” or “I should have researched this a bit more,” or “Good on Obama for realizing it was a dumb idea.”

I’m putting my money “never”, of course.

I got five bucks on “under”! Maybe I won’t win, but I can’t lose…

You know, I think you guys should try harder to really appreciate Clothahump. Every time I see one of his OPs, I get excited. I think to myself, “Now THIS is gonna be some QUALITY stupid!!!”

He’s this generation’s Reeder!

Do you mean to say Clothahump steps in it again?

Wouldn’t the appropriate right-wing response at this point be “What? He doesn’t want them to use private insurance? He’s nationalizing healthcare!”

This is a truly bizarre move (or suggested move). Glad he’s changed his mind.

Flip-flopper!!

But by those standards the OP’s a major disappointment. If it weren’t for the technicality of being outdated, Clothahump would actually have managed to have a legit gripe!

You’re right, of course. As **Clothahump **OPs go, this was probably the MOST valid I’ve ever seen.

Of course, it’s still managed to be something of a mess, hasn’t it?

This thread is HILarious!

Somebody always beats me to it.

I think Clothahump is reight, Obama has stepppedi nit again, if by ‘it’ Clothahump meant common sense and the willingness to change.

That thread is in Great Debates, which has an entirely different purpose than the Pit. I’ve never understood the mindset that a thread on a subject in any forum precludes posting a thread with a different take on the subject in any other (appropriate) forum.

The remainder of your sentence I can’t disagree with.

When did he step out of it?
