Obama can visit wherever he wants. He’s a private citizen with a passport and a bookmark for Cheap-O-Air on his laptop, same as the rest of us. He can come with me to Suriname.

Can he though? Presidents aren’t allowed to drive after they leave office. Joe Biden said in an interview that, as a former vice president, he’s banned from driving for five years after leaving office. Wouldn’t surprise me that former presidents aren’t allowed to travel to conflict zones without the protection and permission from the Secret Service.
