obama wins nobel peace prize....what is the sound of a right-wing head exploding?

Back to the Finn example they have enough resources to make broadband internet a right, but are only providing 100 troops for the redevelopment of Afghanistan out of a possible 34,000 troop available. So, I’d say resources are available. But people are much happier spending them on ensuring things that provide them with comfort than spend them on people who want their children to attend schools to avoid the ignorant poverty they have to live in (and I’d suggest they are in the majority) yet they can’t because of the radical few. Again, sucks to be them, I guess.
Which leads me back to saying that the world doesn’t care about peace, they only care about their piece.

Providing good schools that poor parents can voluntarily send their children to for their own betterment is a far cry from forcing the children of barbarians to learn our superior western ways as you advocated upthread.
We world citizens really ought to expand UNICEF and the like, but such organizations don’t tend to fare well in active battle zones. I think the UN is still stinging from the bomb in Baghdad.

If the people willingly send their children to these schools good. I believe they are in the majority. Where force is required is for those people who want to send their kids to the other type of schools where the only job prospect they have afterwords is ‘suicide bomber’.
