Inspired by the other Mr Wizard thread, I remember watching an episode in which he had his helper person put their fingers in a ‘liquid’ as he was talking to her for a few minutes she mentioned she tasted garlic. He explained that her fingers were in garlic juice and it absorbed…etc…and she could taste it. Can anyone help me confirm this. I got into an argument with my brother over this. We tried it, I swore I could taste it, but he couldn’t. Does anyone else remember that episode or can point me to a website confirming it?
I don’t know about the garlic juice itself, but there is a substance (clear liquid) called DMSO that you can absorb through your skin and you taste garlic while it’s happening.
Some strong aromas come also through your taste sense. The reason I know this is from an old friend who lost his sense of smell due to a skull fracture. He can tell some strong smells are about, because he can taste them.
Did her nipples expand at the same time? That’s the crucial question.
