As for post 1418,. I won’t take a long time with a lot of words. I think it’s just an expectation difference. You may think I deserve more for my efforts, but I think, ya know, it’s tough times, for right now a burger and a movie is OK. I got my computer, tweaked just how I like it. I’ve got NFL ticket on DirectTV, I don’t need to sit at Sports Authority Stadium. I’ve got an entry level Android, don’t need an iPhone. The things I have do me just fine.
In the U.S., hell in my family, the welfare system is abused. It just is. It’s not a small minority of bad apples. I can speak to that from ground level as someone with family in the system and have been in the system since they were old enough to collect. They sit around and plan ways to get more out of the system. How to work with their friends, who are also in the system, to get more. It’s a thing and it’s not anectdotal, it’s an entire subculture.
How would I know? I can tell you though it’s a network type thing. I have ten friends. Each of those friends has ten friends who each have ten friends..

But you may want to read up on “debate”. Some of what you’ll find is that you shouldn’t claim someone has said something that they haven’t said, and that you need to provide a cite when asked.

How far back to do we have to go to get your delusions of American government back? This shit isn’t new or unprecedented. You’re a complete moron if you think there is something special about police quelling this protest. People protest. People ignore the autorities. People get hurt. It happens.
Some people say ‘this response isn’t new or particularly historically out of proportion to other mass protests that have not ended peacefully.’ Others act if this kind of force is completely new and never heard of.
Do you not remember the Watts Riots or the Rodney King trial riots or the Chicago DNC riots? Regardless of how those things started, the response of the authorities isn’t particualrly historically new.
