Odd... bags of Lemonhead candy smell vaguely of urine...

I just opened five bags of Lemonhead candy to use in a display (the smaller pieces, not the larger) and they all smell vaguely of urine.

It’s not just me, either, my co-workers think so, too. The bags were purchased at different stores and at different times; wouldn’t that make the chances of getting ahem “tainted” batch pretty low?

It might be nothing. I mean, to me, Cheerios kinda smells vaguely of dog shit.

can only comment that it could , perhaps, make for a vegetarian version of Joyce’s Ulysses

Lemonhead is a hard candy made by Ferra Pan(sp?). It tastes like lemon, and is yellow.

Whether the yellow comes from dye or urea has yet to be determined.
