My laptop does not have a DVD/Blue ray tray that extends out, it has a slot you insert the disc into.
Cool works great on full sized discs.
I got an accessory that came with one of those mini CDs to load the drivers. How to I get my player to accept and use this mini-me disc?
I tired a half a dozen times and could not get the disc to load. I even tried to move it into place with a credit card. No joy.
Suggestions?
Maybe you can download the software from the accessory manufacturer’s web site.
First suggestion: Don’t try to stick the mini-cd in your drive ever again!
That’s a great way to get a disc jammed in the drive and ruin it
Second suggestion - Download the drivers from their website, and if that doesn’t work, find someone with a try-loading drive to read them for you and stick them on a USB drive.
If you search on “mini cd adapter” you will find a lot of them but all say “not available” (at Amazon, etc.) I also saw that Apple had applied for a patent on an adapter; is that why no one makes them? I didn’t keep on searching so maybe you could still find one.
or on another computer copy the mini-cd onto a full sized cd.
