Mine kicked though logically I realise that it shouldn’t.
I tested this on Pricegal. No recoil. Her comment: “It’s a laser pistol!”.
Fired a hand-gun twice in my life (big ones, I think both was a 45)
no rock and recoil
But, oddly, I fired with my thumb, and not my finger. No, I don’t play arcade games, or PS, or anything like that.
I swiveled around in my chair and shot three times (seated) with no recoil. I have shot a few handguns, and lots of rifles/shotguns.
More interestingly, I made neat “pshew” noises for each shot.
Cool, thanks everybody. It looks like my general theory that some people recoil and some don’t works. I wonder if anybody would recoil a remote control shaped laser gun like Star trek TOS, I doubt it.
