What makes you think that? I’ve met more than I would care to. There are definitely the starry-eyed Trumpites (Trumpets?) who think he can do no wrong. But there are certainly a healthy number of supporters who have enough objectivity to realize that he failed today. Big league.
CNN/ORC poll: Clinton wins (Clinton 52%, Trump 39%)
[Trump]Another rigged poll![/T]
Kellyanne Conway signed a contract with Trump to be paid after the election, right?
I totally agree. Chris Matthews - er, WALLACE - was like a boxing referee who is not allowed to physically separate the boxers. The fact that they didn’t rip each other to shreds with Wallace using old mild chiding - really all he could do - was a success.
Plus I thought his questions were the best of the three debates. Answers not so much, but the moderator did quite well.
There were points where Trump was doing fairly well, but the results of the election hung and the nasty woman comment were historically bad responses. The only debate response I can think of that was worse than those was when Gerald Ford denied that there was any Soviet domination of Eastern Europe going on during his watch.
It looks like the chemicals of the orange spray tan have damaged his skin which is starting to peel off like a snake. Did you see his forehead just over his eyebrows? More damage there than Mosul.
[Darth Trump] Pray I don’t alter it further. *SNIIIFFFF[/Darth Trump]
“This is the Iraqi Fifth Armored Division. It cannot be seen…”
Wrong. Mythbusters proved conclusively that such is possible.
Jesus. Kellyanne Conway is good.
I vote Hillary won the debate. More composed, more informed, more communicative.
May she be as successful collecting her fees from Trump after she is done as others have been through the years.
I just wish at some point (such as after Trump “responded” to the question about putting ground troops into Mozul) that Hil had asked the audience “Did anyone actually hear Mr. Trump answer with a concrete plan about what he would do?” All he did all night was criticize and second-guess without offering any concrete plans of his own. The man is 100% bereft of any actual ideas, all he has is second-guessing, sound bites, and bald-faced lies. OK, three things. Second-guessing, sound bites, and bald-faced lies. And insults. OK, make that four things! He has 4 things…
Maybe that was why Trump was drinking water like it was going out of style ! He trying to grow back new orange skin !
No links right now, but also Fox News, Washington Post, LA Times, Dallas Morning News, BBC World News , and Al Jazeera.
And NBC mentioned it first thing in the post debate commentary. That dodge is going to haunt Trump for the rest of the campaign.
I noticed that he used the same word as with the birther thing: “suspense”. Something tells me that he’s going to try to make this into another “press conference” and wring out some free advertising. He’ll have another event where he gaslights everyone: “Of course I’ll accept the results! What are you, stupid?”
She must’ve enjoyed her day off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zjbc15X1zSM

The part that really drove it home was the way Chris Wallace tried to throw him a life line and he just batted it away.
Not at all, he could have quit calling open questions.
Indeed. His “bus chat” with Billy Bush was the most determined, focused, and methodical discourse he ever delivered. For once, he sounded exactly like he knew what he was doing.
I think the only winners were the folks who switched it off and listened to the Kinks.
