I heard that to increase her lead, Hillary tricked Donald Trump into showing up.

Maybe he’s going to announce that Hillary’s secret lover (he hinted that she’d been “unfaithful” to Bill) is Malik Obama.
At this point literally nothing will shock me. OK, maybe if he takes off his mask and is shown to be a lizard person. Well, not really.
Trump invited Malik because Obama insulted him, trying to look for any strategic reason behind it is foolishness.
I agree the Malik Obama invite isn’t much of a bombshell and Trump is running low on stunts if it’s the best he has.
However there is some relevance to the election since Malik Obama said back after the Comey recommendation not to indict Hillary that that was the reason or ‘final straw’ why he was abandoning the Democrats including his brother*. Obviously it could be self serving or part of some family feud that’s not in the open, as always with rogue relatives (Democrats also have liked to play up anti-Republican or at least political ‘maverick’ relatives of notable Republicans, Ron Reagan Jr, Megan McCain etc).
*though also killing Qaddafi who he called a ‘friend’…
This is his last opportunity to introduce Hillary Clinton’s lesbian lover and her alien baby.
Then, he’ll use highlights from all three debates as the prequel to his TV series.

What struck me during the second debate, when they showed both candidates split screen, Clinton was often smiling and shaking her head in incredulity during Trump’s attacks, while Trump was always scowling and frowning during her comments. She has the capacity to just shrug things off, while he can’t.
This picture? I hope so.
while I believe this is true, and that tRump is really angry, rattled etc - I also think it’s possible that at least some of this is an act. NOT that he isn’t a ranting buffon, and clueless, and anything else you like but he is ALSO a man doing a reality TV show. in a very real way.
this is literally a show he has created to become more famous and make money plus maybe becoming Emperor or something, in what is passing for his mind. his speed-soaked mind.
Will we see Chris Wallace try to show the world he’s not just another Fox hack? Or will he be auditioning for a new job on Trump TV?
The e-mail/Benghazi questions will answer that.
I actually think that the “whining” was the wrong word to use. To me, whining suggests that one is being overly petty about something that is minor, but true.
Using people’s pain as a political ploy is a Trump specialty. Just before the last debate I wrote a fast letter to the editor of our city newspaper. I sent it by email so it was date timed, as I didn’t want my views after the after the debate to influence it.
I said how despicable it was for Trump to use the pain of victims of assault as a political weapon. Rape/sexual assault is a crime that a person never forgets, that can cause them pain for decades after the event. And I said “I should know” because I’d been the victim of a serial rapist(#4 of 6) and in the thirty eight years since that night there hasn’t been a day that goes by in which the event hasn’t crossed my mind at some point. The letter got printed too, and I’ve had some interesting comments on it.
There seems to be no ugly thing Trump will not do or say to strike out at his opponents.
Yes. It’s not strategic. It’s Trump saying “nyah nyah, Obama!” and looking forward to the waves of love he’ll get from the fans during his next rally. Stickin’ it to Obama!!! Whooohoooo!
If she did, the next Trump ad (probably made for free by alt-righters, given Trump campaign finances) will cut off right when she drops. “Hillary collapses at debate!!!1!!!1!!! You can see with your own eyes she’s unfit!!!1!!!1!!!”
I’m in Barcelona at the moment and it’s already midnight and I’m already drunk and I don’t think I can stay up until three to watch the debate and it’s KILLING ME. I feel I’m going to miss the Best Show on Earth.
Like I said in the last debate thread, I predict he’ll something really outrageous that he knows will make headlines, but that’ll divert the spotlight away from all these other controversies swirling about.
For example they will ask him about the Supreme Court vacancy, and he’ll say something like, “To let Hillary Clinton fill that Supreme Court seat would be a massive dishonor to the legacy of that great man Antonin Scalia. In fact it would be equivalent to letting her sodomize the corpse of Antonin Scalia on the National Mall. I don’t know about you folks, but that’s not a sight I would like to see.”
I predict Trump is going to announce Vince Foster as his special guest. His team will carry a coffin on stage, they will open it, and the cameras will zoom in on Vince’s skeleton. Then he will provide “proof” that Hillary killed Vince. He will ignore all questions and spend the entire 90 minutes screaming “Hillary is a murderer!!!”

Wallace’s choice of topics certainly seems to be meant to toss meat to Trump:
Debt and entitlements
Immigration
The economy
The Supreme Court
“Foreign hot spots,” which I assume is about Syria but would play into Trump’s strengths if it was about places to find hookers
“Fitness To Be President”
All are topics Trump can specifically yammer away about. Not with anything approaching truth or logic, but with his talking points. None seem exactly primed to start up Trump about Benghazi, but God knows staying on topic has never stopped him before.
Debate? Debate??!? The Cubs are playing the Dodgers tonight for heaven’s sake.
Apparently, Trump and Roger Ailes are no longer on speaking terms, and he is not helping Trump with whatever debate prep he is doing. The respective camps differ as to the reason (either Trump wouldn’t focus, or Ailes was too long winded with his war stories), but Trump has basically narrowed his inner circle down to the Brietbart contingent.
I used to think he was preaching to the Alt-right to try to get their votes. Now, I think he is Alt-right. His anger is genuine; he really thinks he is sharing the stage with a woman who kills her political enemies.
