One of my all-time favorite movie lines!
Today’s (Sun May 1 2022) strip Skeleton Courier
Just thought I’d post a link to the previous appearance of this character: Kill the Messenger (a two-parter so remember to hit the Next button).
The fact that Oglaf posts are not numbered and the archive is all pictures with no searchable text makes looking up minor characters difficult.
Dust in the end
All we are is dust in the end
(All we are is dust in the end)
Dust in the end
(Everything is dust in the end)
Everything is dust in the end
I love the way with this one the outcome was obvious and the punchline was obvious but somehow it made me laugh anyway.
With her history, she’s likely investigating herself to throw everyone off.
The latest strip doesn’t have the cut off lower right corner, but has no more pages.
Mistake or is there some trick to this?
If there is a second page, what should be the URL for it throws up a 403 error.
Good one.
I presume you mean Carp (sfw). FWIW the Archive labels it as one page. I think the lack of a cutoff corner was just an oversight.
I played some D&D back in 1981, and named my cleric Joe Cool. This is probably why the DM wouldn’t let me make him a Jesuit.
As a former physicist, I endorse this week’s Oglaf! Funny take on how silly particle physics can sound, and on crazy LHC conspiracy theories. This one’s even work safe, except for a single curse word Collider
This week’s strip is drawn in a far more basic style because Trudy is in hospital with a broken knee.
I’d send flowers if I knew how.
She’s done that before, it’s a comic-within-the-comic called the Slut Adventures, based on distorted legends of The Apprentice a.k.a Ivan, who ended up banished to semi-death/perpetual sleep. Some years back there were rumors that the Apprentice/Mistress storyline was going to be revived but nothing ever came of it. Basically it’s over, unless Trudy ever changes her mind.
Same on public holidays/Xmas
True Slut Adventures. Not like those Fake Slut Adventures you get, with the Fake Deaths.
Think of the amazing pranks you could do with a Fake Death. Johnny Knoxville would love it.
OK, I’ll admit. Today’s strip (Oct. 30th) had me laughing a lot more than is appropriate, even if I’m only in front of the cats.
It was good. But I liked last week’s Adventures of Link better.
MOLON LABIA was really good.
Thanks for the cite I had no idea what the hell the background to that quip was.
