Latest strip “Portrait”:It took me a minute to get it until I noticed the incense brazier behind her in panel 4. IOW, she was breathing “incense of bad decisions” when she decided to give Apprentice the various crap tributes. I’m sure this presages something. You know, together with the events of the Glove-Rapunzel-Emancipation arc, I’m starting to think that butt-monkey though he is, Apprentice may be the tool of the Gods in dealing with Mistress.
Not just giving the crap to Ivan - everything she said in the strip was under the influence of the incense. I mean, seriously ‘flying skulls and lightning’?
I love her artwork, and her sensibility of Fantasy. I wish she made a full length story in that style, with less crude humour and more fun and adventure stuff. She’d kick it out of the park.
Unfortunately the other comics she draws don’t appeal to me.
I started reading Platinum Grit a while ago, but just didn’t have the time. I still have it bookmarked, though.

Couldn’t get a good look at Kronar’s right hand, but he did seem to be holding an axe. Have they abandoned the continuity of “Hilting” that was maintained in “Son of Kronar”?

I don’t understand what they meant by “lard”. I also didn’t understand the second page of the previous comic until the third time I read it.

A few comics ago, there was an assassin who was foiled by lard smeared on the walls.
I wonder, will Ivan find out that there was someone actually willing to fuck him, but then she died? He’d really regret that.
Wouldn’t Ivan’s story be contradicted by the message he wrote on the wall?
