We still don’t have a definitive connection between the main group of characters and the Kronar the Gay Barbarian/Skull of an Enemy King continuity (though some speculate that Grier is the Son of Kronar, which would separate those chronologically), and I don’t think the Labyrinth group or Oglaf the Magical Shepherd Boy is connected to either. Plus, of course, the Fountain-searchers, though they stopped recurring long ago.

None of them have shown up more than two or three times, so I’m not sure that I’m going to count them as recurring.
So perhaps I’m being slow, but do we know who is doing the killing yet? Navaan seems just to be milking victims without killing them. Or is that having some delayed effect?

It seems near certain that Navaan is involved in killing them in some way.
But if she has found a way to milk them without killing them (and is prepared to do that rather than kill them) then why is she sometimes killing them? If milking works you might think killing then becomes counter productive for her. Or maybe what she’s doing kills eventually. Or maybe what she’s doing doesn’t actually kill them but turn them into funpires but the monks don’t realise that?
There has to be, I think, some sort of further twist.
It could also be the other vampires in her group. Just cause she’d rather blow the monks than kill them doesn’t mean that her compatriots share the same view.
On the other hand, the corpse’s erection suggests that he died shortly after she finished. At least this is getting interesting again.
