These are the kinds of atrocities that capture and interrogation attempt to thwart. The barbarism of this enemy is unlike one the world has seen in a long long time. When there is a callousness of taking innocent life in such a manner, traditional methods of confrontation have to be re-thought.
And now there’s this. 2 bombers kill 26 including 16 students in Yemen
Ugh. Quite nasty, although in Yemen the whole thing is in the context of a Shiite-Sunni and tribal almost civil war. It seems to me that the main target was not the school bus, but the house of a Shiite leader, and that the bus ended up being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Read the article. There were two car bombs. One that waited until the bus came by; and the second one that went to the leader’s house.
Horrible news. 
My manager is from Pakistan. I gave her my condolences and simply said that “words fail me.” She has a brave face on but admitted that she couldn’t watch the news. I’m guessing I’m the only colleague that said anything (and hope I’m wrong about that).
Bad karma.
Court this morning, there was a service. I have never seen people openly weeping before like that. Announcement came that due to the national mourning, except urgent business and bail matters ae going to be heard at all.
The Schools headmistress managed to get out with the students she was with and then went back inside to get as many more out She was killed.
Afghanistan given ultimatum by Army Chief to hand over head of the Taliban in Pakistan. Or unilateral action will be taken.
Well if so, wouldn’t that make this the stupidest act of terrorism in history? Because they sure won’t be supporting them now.
