Today, Dec. 16, 6 terrorists attacked an Army Public School in Peshawar.
Data at still sketchy. There is mention of at least 126 dead, 250 wounded, one terrorist who blew himself up, two others killed by security forces. There is not yet clear information about the situation there.
Its evil to attack children. Its stupid to boast that you went there to kill children. It is insane to strike those whose father and mothers have the ability to blow you seven ways to hell.
Well, no. I get the same news as all of you. But, I am from a military family and most of the kids were those of servicemen and servicewomen. My parents are going to be on funeral duty for the next few days.
Pakistani terrorists attacked India in similar terror attack of 26/11. India gave many dossiers but no action was taken against the perpetrators by Pak.
They recently booked entire trains for people to attend the rallies of anti-india terrorist (Hafeez Saeed, the perpetrator of 26/11), who warned of more terror attacks in India.
Hope they find good sense and do not differentiate between ‘good terrorist’ and ‘bad terrorist’ anymore after this dastardly attack.
Oh. My. God. There’s nothing to say. Words just fail.
Except that if I were religious, I’d wish the fucking batshit fanatics to burn in whatever their personal rendition of hell might be, for the rest of eternity.
As I watched the reports, the only word that came to my mind is “savage.” These are savages. They have devolved from being civilized to evil, brainless savages.
This is how I feel. According to the news this morning, the Taliban released some BS statement about how they instructed the attackers to target the military personnel and not harm the children.
Sure.
If you were that concerned, maybe you should have attacked something other than a MOTHERFUCKING SCHOOL !!!
At this point, I pretty much feel that these guys need to be rounded up and euthanized, like stray dogs.
Unfortunatly, I must stand by me earlier prediction that the Afghani civilians in nearby towns are almost certainly going to be the people who bear the brunt of the retaliation.
So, the Army news service has been busy at my parents home. Highlights
i) A major had two kids at the school and his wife was a teacher, all three dead.
ii) A female Brigadier lost all three children and she is on duty tonight.
What kind of…thing do you have to be to target children and then boast about it.
IIRC (correct me if I am wrong) - Pakistan has a somewhat ambiguous relationship with Taliban. Pakistan often tacitly supports Taliban. All unofficially of course, but supports nevertheless. If so, some blame for Taliban-committed atrocities, I believe, belongs with Pakistan authorities.
Par for the course for you Terr. And no, since June 2014, the Army has been in an all out offensive against the Taliban and this is has been used expressly as the reason for the attack.
Keep us posted, AK84, as you can. Meanwhile, my thoughts will be with those poor victims, and their families … and the victims and families of the next/retaliatory atrocity …
It’s terrible enough to read about this from half a world away. I can’t imagine what your family and their friends are going through. My thoughts are with you and all those who have lost innocents today.
