Oh frabjous day, I found Olympia beer!

Can’t say, I’ve never had Oly from a bottle. But that article makes it sound as if the “dots” were molded into the glass of the bottle itself, not printed on the label (the bit about running a thumbnail down the middle of the label).

Does anybody remember the neon boxes and cans from the 1990s? Here’s the only picture I’ve been able to find. Not the can I remember, though. The one I remember was the black can with “Oly” in cursive, without the background, and in graduated colors.

Never saw one of those, even under the most extensive drug use.

LOL. Beer was my only “drug” at the time, and I bought many half-racks of that “neon” Oly. Maybe it was only distributed on a limited basis in that packaging. It was shortly before Oly disappeared from local shelves (I assume when the brewery was shut down). I suspect they were trying (or rather, their new owners were trying) to capitalize on the '90s “Xtreme” aesthetic.
