The way everyone goes on about Radeons, I may have to switch next time I upgrade, but I’ve heard their drivers are crap.
Yes they are. They are in Montréal. My roommate used to work for them.
Well they crap… but over at Toms’s Hardware you can read all about the new Radeon, and I can personally tell you how Amazing my Radeon 7500, then 8500 and now 9000 (and soon 9800) have been and I have had Zero driver issues! Very happy with ATI!!
Aw crap! I just bought a Radeon with only 128 MB. Obviously I am now MB-deficient.
OTOH, I live in the same city as Nelvana, Alias/Wavefront, Alliance/Atlantis, Sheridan College, The Beguiling, and CityTV.

I am pretty sure he is the second. The first to win the Masters, but I believe a lefty won the PGA in 1963.
Wow, I’m just full of mis-information today…
“Close is only good in horseshoes and hand grenades!”
Can ya hook me up for my great Northern migration? Hmm? Hmm? Get me in the door. I’ll say “eh?” a lot, and I’m sure I could find some flannel to wear somewhere. I’ll blend right in.
Bob Charles won the British Open in 1963, the only other time a lefty was won a major. Although not Mike Weir’s first tour win, this was his first major win.
The guy has played great all year, and kept his cool over the last few holes when he could have choked like Maggert did.
Oh I know! Lesse… I’m 2 degrees away from the majority of Captain Tractor… 2 away from some of the Rankin Family… 1 away from a former supreme court judge  … 2 away from the current Leftenant Governer in Alberta (Lois Hole)… I’d have to think hard on others but you get the picture
Like I said in my previous post, it was my roommate who used to work for them, however I can see what I can do, e-mail me with the info you want me to forward. BTW, speaking French would be an asset here.
You forgot Ross Rabagliati for athletes.
My husband went to highschool with him. However many micrograms or not, he still won the first Olympic gold medal in snowboarding.
(Minor nitpick… does anyone know if Whistler-Blackcomb changed the name of Ross’s Gold ski run back to what it was previously called…“Gandydancer” because of the Olympic bid? Pretty cheesie, I’d say. but I dont know for sure)
I would like to come to the defense of my beloved home country:
What about the US’ crap singers??:
Eminem
Britney Spears <gasp>
Christine Aguilera
JLo…
Considering the entire internet is covered in Britney Spears porn,
man, they make Celine Dion look good.
Besides, I kinda like Avril Lavigne- her hometown is 15 minutes from my grandparents’ house.
I hate to say I hate the country I live in…
Well, we’ll be the judges of that. How are you with donuts and drinking real beer? Swimming outside in +15ºC? Oh right, that’s another thing - you have to learn metric. But not all metric - Canadians switch back and forth depending on what we’re talking about. It’s really more of an art form.
And we measure distance in time, i.e. it’s five hours to go from Montréal to Toronto.
No, the good thing is you measure in kilometers, right?
BTW, they measure in time in Los Angeles as well, so it’s not a completely Canadian ordeal.
I’m 5’ 11"
It was 21ºC yesterday
I weigh 180lbs.
I drive about 15km to work each morning
The best part is, I have no idea how many cm tall I am, or what temperature in ºF it was yesterday, or how many kilos I weigh or how many miles 15 km is… I mean I can figure it all out, but here in Canada, we go by this simple rule. Tis better to use your… Hey! A Timmies!
Yes…Pamela Anderson…
Boobies…
Yes, yes, Kwy,
Boobies…
However, Pam may be Canadian, but I am almost positive her ‘breasts’ are not!
I can’t believe that of all people, you, a breast appreciator of the highest order, like Pam’s fake knockers…
‘tis a sad day for breasts…
