There isn’t quite enough vitriol in this post for the pit, but mods, if you feel the need to move it than go for it
So my main school is a junior high school, I’m there most of the week teaching English. For some reason, though, they never feel the need to tell me when MY classes get changed. Wednesday, for instance, one of my teachers was absent, so instead of telling me my class had been canceled I showed up to it, as if, you know, it were on my schedule, and all the kids looked at me confused. They told me the class had been canceled but that I should stay and teach anyway (which made me feel good, but still, stupid teachers…) so of course I said “uh, hold on” and then ran back to the teachers’ room to confirm this and then I sat down and read a book all period.
So today I get in and I prepare for my first period class. Get up, start walking towards class and here “oh, Pope-sensei, wait.” yea, so my class got moved to another period. Damnit people, these are my classes, TELL me when something that is pertinent to my workday changes. It’s not that difficult, it honestly isn’t.
So, anyone else get annoyed but schedule changes and such on a regular basis at work?
