WaveOut Format Not Supported

any ideas at all wahts wrong? if u need more info i can get it for u

please somone!!!

You say it plays no sound at all. Does this include windows sounds?

Check the obvious first - in your volume control, make sure that you have not muted all sounds or wave sounds.

However, from your error message, it may be a driver problem. Check in device manager to insure the sound board devices are operating correctly (no yellow or red icons on the devices). You may need to reinstall the board drivers.

reboot. then retry. if that doesn’t work reinstall the soundcard drivers.

hmm, ive done all these things and nothing. i think i might have just fried my sound card, it was a piece of junk anyway…
