IANAL, obviously, so I am curious…is there any way Disney could force them to take it down or go after them for CR? I haven’t watch it since I’m at work and I imagine it is short enough to not be actionable. I was just curious though.
To be fair, as twisted as Thanos’s actions were, he meant well. He honestly thought that he was helping the universe by lowering its population. There was a lot of self-sacrifice involved, and he was filled with regret at what he had to do to get there, but felt that it was worth it if it meant that the lives of the survivors were improved.
I’m not sure that you can ascribe such noble intentions (flawed as they may be) to Donald Trump.
The level of intelligence needed to think that Thanos’ means were in any way going to fix anything is…

You’re utterly wrong. He had no intention of helping anyone. He saw his own planet destroyed by overpopulation, and wanted to prove to everyone that he could have saved his own planet by killing half of it. His justifications were bullshit.

was the second Thanos, who, having found that his plan to kill half the life in the universe hadn’t worked the way he thought it would, and those ungrateful 50% bastards had actually killed the first Thanos and had the gall to bring back the 50% he had killed, was now planning to kill 100% of the life in the universe. So there would be no survivors this time to undo his work. He was purely about revenge at that point.
