That was kind of delightful. I want to save that video and show it to my (future) kids.
Wow! Wish I could show that to the kids; since I can’t, as they’re 11 and 13 and I’m just not ready to explain to them how a woman can dress as Freddy Mercury and both nail it and make it awesome…I’m going to have to find the actual book, I think. Or some kid-friendly version, because I’d never heard of it and it’s quite inspiring!

I just watched it and was coming back to question where the kid un-friendly part was. Then I realized my kid censor is set for a 5-6 year old girl. I don’t think she’d even noticed anything off about the Freddy Mercury girl. If she even realized that it wasn’t a guy I don’t think she’d catch that she was topless (same goes for the pantless girl running away from the camera).
If my daughter was familiar with the book, I’d have her watch video since it’s kinda fun. Since I don’t think she knows it, it’s not likely she’d even pay attention.
