Yes, standing up for yourselves. Such a dick move. I mean, god forbid someone assert their rights. God forbid someone actually fight to preserve their right not to be exploited. God forbid people actually get paid for work rather than wind up at the company store–you know, where we were before the unions.

No…but as an employer myself, I consider what the manager did as a short-sighted, idiotic and DICK move…regardless what the strikers did or didn’t do.

So do employers. Why do you think unions came about in the first place? Look up the Homestead Strike sometime.

Things that happened on the order of 100 years ago are of limited value in convincing people of the continued value of a given organization or concept.
