While games like Roblox have a definite underage grooming problem, predators quickly try to move their victims to other platforms to talk and exchange pictures/videos. You can’t send anyone a video in Minecraft after all – that’s done in Snapchat, Sessions, Telegram, etc.
There’s also plenty of contact made via Instagram and other traditional social media or “random chat” sites like Omegle where you’re randomly matched with video chat partners.
All kidding aside, part of me wonders if this is the purpose of the law. Russia doesn’t have much they can export any more, and funding their military is expensive, after all. And there are plenty of American officeholders who seem to have Putin’s best interests at heart.

Reminds me of Sheldon and Amy in the Big Bang Theory episode where they finally have sex as her birthday present. As they poignantly decide to figure everything out together the scene fades away. A caption reads, “Several hours later” and fades back in to Sheldon. “I enjoyed that more then I thought I would. I’m looking forward to doing it again on your next birthday”. The camera pans over to Amy with her hair very frazzled and an exhausted look on her face, “Works for me!”
