Ok, any FAMOUS dopers here?

Actually, Troy posts here.

I was once on Good Morning America!

It was just after Princess Diana died and I happened to work in the area so I wandered down to Buckingham Palace one lunchtime to have a look at the media circus going on. I found myself at the front of a crowd of people and suddenly a microphone was thrust into my face and I was asked what I thought about it all by a female presenter.

Suddenly all my hopes and dreams rushed across my mind. This was my chance to directly tell the people of America my thoughts. I don’t know how many people watch that show but I’m guessing it’s in the tens of millions.

I didn’t personally give much of a shit about the Diana issue, I was just there to watch the media show. But now, I could tell the American public what I really thought about the great issues of our time. About American foreign policy, about world economics, about religion, about everything.

This was my big chance!

It would have to be now or never. “Go for it, Jojo” I thought “give em it straight from the hip, they might make you president. Speak unto the people of America”.

So anyway, I think I muttered something about how sad it all was and shuffled away in shame.

sigh

I was a regional champion in the Scripps Howard spelling bee in 4th grade. Got my picture in the paper and went to the national competition.

My freeware IRC client has been featured on many web sites and in a few magazines, most recently the Italian edition of PC Magazine. I’ve received donations and lots of fan mail.

OK, OK, I’ll confess my real identity.

Actually, I’m Harley Earl, and I’m bringing you my new car design . . .
. . . from beyond the graaaave . . .

I’m Batman.

Then where did that green duffel bag we found under your desk come from ???

Yeah, I want to know about this also. I have always wondered if Peter uses some kind of special diet to be able to deliver the performances he … well … delivers … if you get my drift.

I cowrote a TV series that nobody saw, and was part of the team that made the movie which won the ‘Best Film’ award in New Zealand for the year 2000. I also drew a comic strip that got virtually unnoticed when put into my hometown’s Student Newspaper.

Um.

Oh, and I help maintain a very successful adult website that is gaining fame in certain circles.
