For the first time in my life I was not able to do any thing I wanted to do.
I was homebound waiting for or recovering from surgery.
You’ll never know how much I looked foreward to reading your posts or sometimes
responding to them.
You know, some of you are crazy.Big Grin.
I started back to work this week and everything seems OK.

I know exactally what you mean about the surgery thing. Not being able to walk very well for three months kept me in front of the computer most days and nights.(I just got off my crutches Wed. and was given the green light to drive again yeah!!) The straight dope kept me sane. Now that I’m up and about I’ve been slacking and actually going outside and rediscovering that people are out there.Scary.
Justwannano: great news! But don’t let it stop mate. What do you think we have computers at work for?

I guess I must have mentioned that I worked at TRW but that was 25years ago. I wish that I could find that sort of work again but too many years have passed.
TRW bought out IRC,International Resistance Company back in the 70s and then closed our plant. There was a small local company that spun off the plant closure that is still in buisness.I may stop there this winter and talk to the guys that own it. Who Knows?
