Despite the fact that it’s so full of holes you won’t even attempt an explanation.
So predators are impossible, but somehow the black ops drove up in a car that made no sound, mutilated a cow in half an hour, and vanished without leaving a trace with the rancher nearby.
Ok Carol, I’ll have a go.
I don’t find what you’ve posted to be compelling.
In post #56 you suggest that it’s not enough to say ‘insects did it’ but that we must identify specific species and confirm that they’re present and active in the place and time of the incident.
Nothing wrong with that, in fact those are pretty good questions for a skeptic to ask. But you don’t maintain that kind of thinking.
In your posts and links you accept statements from anonymous pathologist and unnamed witnesses. You’ve yet to link to say, a newpaper article.
You say that ranchers are the authority on what’s normal, well I’d like to see some statements by identified ranchers about what they found to be abnormal, and why. And what percentage of total ranchers have found something abnormal, do most ranchers think their cattle have been muted or just a handful? For every event where lack of tracks is noted, current ground conditions must be noted as well.
I think these questions are just as reasonable as you raised about the insects.
But you haven’t been raising them as far as I can tell. You appear to have begun with a conclusion, that the world is a more mysterious place than ‘they’ve’ been telling you and then looked for and accepted only evidence that supports your conclusions. That’s not an unusual behaviour, it’s common amongst many types of believers, but it’s unlikely to lead you to any facts or scientific truths. It’s also not a very respected way of thinking on this message board.
I propose a new rule for the boards: anyone attempting to support an argument by citing a site like http://www.crystalinks.com/ should be immediately banned.
Well now, thats a quite and thoughtful post Outliern, scowls at Old Yeller…
What alerted the ranchers is the time factor. In order for a carcase to receive as much damage to them as these cattle mutes more time had to have passed. In some cases its only a matter of a few hours before a cow is found with all of its parts missing. And the way they are missing, teats and anuses missing yet no tearing of the flesh, eyes missing yet even on white faced herfords theres no blood staining the white of the face, the list goes on and on. If these animals had been fed upon then tracks would be around the ground.Even if the soil is hard and dry tracks would still show up where the animal bit into a piece of flesh and proceded to tug and remove that flesh. There are no tracks of humans or animals ever around the body. This leads some to believe that the aniamal is actually killed and mutilated elsewhere with its body being lifted and set down somewhere else, hence no footprints.Ranchers see range death all the time Outliern, there familar with common range death its no big deal. This what there seeing is something none of them have experienced before,it was the ranchers that called in law enforcement when their vets came away as perplexed as they were.
Once again: why would anybody do that? If the goal is covert radiation testing, why bring the carcass back? And anyway, if people are bringing the carcass back, why aren’t they or their equipment leaving tracks?
I thought perhaps you were CONTINUALLY IGNORING MANY VALID POINTS PEOPLE ARE RAISING because you are visually impaired. Perhaps this will get your attention. So far, no luck.
If I havent answered all the posts its because I dont have the answers, nothing proveable anyway. Im still with the ranchers on this one, they know its unusual, they have been interviewed many times and insist that how they find these animals is so extraordinairy they call in both vets and law enforcement.
I agree, you don’t. Your theory is full of basic logical and logistical holes, and you believe it anyway even though you can’t answer any of them and the events you’re intersted in have much simpler explanations.
Is there anything left to discuss? The OP has basically acknowledged that any time she hears something that suggests what she already “believes” is wrong, she’s going to stick her fingers in her ears and go LA LA LA CAN’T HEAR YOU!
Well then,I take it this board thinks theres nothing to all of this. Ranchers are wrong to report what they see and their vets and law enforcement are also wrong,my my and to think you did all that without ever having to leave your chairs.Well I see things differently, this has been going on for years, dispite stakeouts ranchers are continually hit and their animals end up dead with no apparent reason at hand.Ignore it if you will, thats your choice to me its a strange and mysterious occurance but to all of you it isnt, shrugs,so be it.
