1. No, they’re not. They understand raising cattle but they don’t necessarily know much about the effects of natural predation of cattle.

2. Ranchers in this very thread have shown that they don’t see anything unusual with the state of the dead cattle. They’ve identified the predators, killed them, and the cattle deaths have stopped.

This is where carol nistri’s premise goes off the rails - right at the beginning. Ranchers are not experts in the area of animal death and predation. They may seem to be so, since they are “in the field” with the animals a great deal. (although less so than in the past - many ranchers today are much more “hands off”, and do not have a real connection to the land.) But they are more expert in live animals - dead ones not so much.

In addition, if you have 98 ranchers that are knowledgeble about why their cattle have died, and 2 who don’t know from shit what is going on, but espouse a “mysterious conspiracy” theory… guess who is going to get the attention?

This is exactly what you DON’T do: believe something is strange just because someone says so. That’s how you end up with ridiculous conclusions like “El Chupacabra must be nearby” or “aliens are mutilating cattle in experiments.” You bring in someone who can evaluate whether or not it’s strange and then go through the most likely explanations so you can get some facts.

Ok,what do I think Cattle Mutilations and Crop Circles have in common? In my opinion only,I think there blacker than black operations. I want you to look at that Alien Face and tell me what you think. The shading is fantastic ,the binary code has the worlds silliest message but its the binary code thats convinced me these circles are done on a computer.I dont know how to do it but can someone put that alien face up for all of us to see? Is that possible or does this board not accept images?

That is to say, somebody could create or copy an image and turn it into a set of GPS coordinates, and then it’s just a matter of stamping the wheat down where your GPS device tells you to do so. And an English-language message in “binary” that any college freshman in computer science could create (or decode, for that matter)? There are far more mysterious things in the world than that.

And this is a perfect example of why. The image, by itself, means very little. It’s amusing, but unless you back up in words and logic why it would be impossible for a group of motivated people to make that with relatively simple technology then you’ve really done nothing to advance your case. In fact, since it’s pretty easy to see how a group of hoaxers could make the alien face, you’ve shot your own argument in the foot.

You don’t seem to understand the implications of the data you are presenting. Rather than bolstering your case (it’s all black ops) it is merely showing how mundane and simple explanations are more logical.
