I was reading remarks such as this nearly word for word in the U.K. 5-6 years ago and the authors were condemned as filthy racist pigs, these days ordinary people are more inclined to agree rather than condem
Speaking as the old enemy I have found Glasgow to be a warm and friendly place and I do not mean just the touristy bits, I remember the Glasgow tenements, the gang wars and Celtic winning the European cup
If Islam itself were the problem, why would ISIS need to “infiltrate and fund cells” in the most populous Muslim nation on the planet and its closest Muslim neighbor?
Just wondering here, are there any reports and statistics from local emergency rooms? Seems to me, given the level of presumed violence and mayhem, there should be.
Because they are a franchise with their own vision of how to manifest Islam. A vision that is in competition with various other Islamist and Jihadist groups.

Im not so sure. A man fondling a woman’s “bits” doesn’t necessarily require hospital treatment for the victim.
Of course, but I was under the impression that there was buttloads of violence perpetrated. Buttloads of violence results in verifiable injuries, which are treated, and records kept. Unacceptable and uninvited fondling, not so much.
Of course, “Drunken Muslims on rampage” makes a better headline, and a much better talking point.
Now, let it be noted that I do not claim to know what happened. But let it further be noted that I am suspicious of such claims leveled at a despised minority. Even more so when the alleged outrage leaves no physical evidence.

I, too, am interested in the raw statistics that must have come out of this, Germany being Germany. So far, as riots go, I’m not impressed. Yes, some men groped some women who did not invite it, however they were dressed. And it being Germany in December, I also assume the women were not dressed in a tantalizing manner by most stretches of the imagination, not that the attacks would be justified if they were. But how many men were arrested, how many people were injured, and how many skulls were cracked by policemen’s batons? I have difficulty believing even the small force of cops present would be afraid of wading into a minor melee, but I’m from Chicago and assume that, if it were to happen here, bullets would fly and brown men would die if it were half as bad as the claims claim.
Cologne is no stranger to stupid riots; do they have mounted police? Horses are great for crowd control.
So here we are: defending abusers of women because they are a “despised minority.”
The liberal cognitive dissonance is so loud it’s a fucking tritone.
And the conservative reading incomprehension maintains its steady hum.

Unless hundreds of German women did simultaneously make up allegations because they hate Muslims. Which may not sit well with the feminist liberals on this board who don’t take claims of sexual abuse lightly.
