Ok, so what the hell happened in Germany in NYE?

How many refugees you going to house? How many checks you write?

Muslims immigrants are a forest fire. You can fight fire with fire. So bring in more Muslims of a different sect.

It’s always funny how people who say this stuff don’t realize how monumentally stupid it is. If you agreed with some military spending do you think it would be a valid rejoinder for me to cry “How many jets are you going to build? How many are you going to keep in your garage?”

They’ll let me have one? With like, rockets and stuff?

I’ll take a jet.

And how many children do I teach, or sick people do I heal…

…why hang on, I just remembered that I’m a tax payer in a country with a support infrastructure that handily helps to provide housing for the homeless, welfare benefits, and other such things. Why gosh, it appears that I don’t actually have to house a migrant, in the same way that I don’t have to try to perform cancer surgery, or build a sewer network, even though I’m in favour of those facilities too.

And why who’d believe it, but as a taxpayer who’s prepared to continue to pay into that support network, and even have to pay a bit more tax if necessary, I’m allowed to have an opinion on just who such benefits should be extended to. Isn’t a democratic, collectively funded society a wonderful fucking thing!

Can the pilot bunk up with you? Fair warning though, he’ll probably bang your wife.

Sure it is. When everyone agrees with YOUR point of view.

You’re about 300 years too late with your outrage.

It’s not the neo-Nazis’ fault they espouse horrible xenophobic policies and commit assaults on people of different nationalities and religions. They just can’t help it.

See, it’s important to remember that when Muslims do bad things to non-Muslims it’s because they’re fundamentally evil people, but when non-Muslims do bad things to Muslims it’s because the Muslims *made *us do it and anyway it’s for their own good.

Eh. Whatever keeps her happy.

You really don’t get the way democracy works, do you? That whole “government by the people; especially rule of the majority” thing is just not sinking in.

It means I don’t need everyone to agree with me, I need the majority of the voting population to do so. And it also means that if I believe in a course of action then arguing for your beliefs in a public forum is a good idea. So if, for example, one should stumble across a board where people are trying to push the idea that all muslims are a threat, why it’s a good idea to try to rebut it.

And if you’re really, really lucky you’ll find that all you have to argue with are some Daily Mail cut & pastes, and someone who believes that “well if you like immigrants so much why don’t you house them” is a passable argument.

HTH.

I think that the U.K will be the first to leave (I hope) to be followed by other northern EU countries, Hopefully the smaller group will be what we originally voted for, a common market not the federated states of Europe as some self interested people would like.

Yes controlled immigration can be beneficial to the U.K. but there has to be a ceiling controlled by the number of job vacancies (importing unemployment does not help anyone), housing we have a shortage with a waiting list,(we already have migrants sleeping rough) education we have a shortage of both schools and teachers, health the NHS is over stretched (disease such as TB which was eradicated in the U.K. have reappeared, some diseases that have not been seen in the U.K. before are now being diagnosed) I cannot support this with the so called proof as hospitals are not releasing details. I wonder why? We have no idea of the number of diseases being brought into Europe through uncontrolled mass migration, are we going to see a Ebola type virus sweep through Europe, it is a real threat that must be considered. It is time to consider the real implications of uncontrolled mas migration.

Uh, right, because UK citizens who travel to other locations couldn’t possibly bring back new and exotic diseases…

It’s understandable that no European nation wants a million new people in just one year, but honestly, most of what you’re saying sounds like someone scared of foreigners

No, a bunch of incoming Syrians are not going to bring ebola with them - the area of the world where ebola is indigenous is thousands of miles away from Syria, separated by, among other things besides sheer distance, the Sahara desert which is a pretty effective barrier.

This is a problem when you have a culture where woman and girls are subservient to men

I’m so glad rape doesn’t exist in the US.

I was using Ebola as an example. We all know how infectious this disease is and how many thousands died. It has to be a consideration that a disease such as Ebola could cause a pandemic and this is the reason why migration should be controlled.
The number of Syrian refugees among the migrants are a minority and this is why we should accept only refugees from the camps on the Syrian border where they can be registered and checked for health and ID.

Scared of Foreigners? I used to work for a British company in Germany for four years and made many friends. I travel throughout Europe (where I consider myself to be the foreigner and I am definitely not scared of me) both on business and pleasure. In the U.K. my social mix is Russian, Mexican, French, German, Spanish etc. as well as a mixed bag of U.K. citizens.

New Cologne gropings - live on camera, this time, and with white rather than Arab or North African perpetrators.

I am sorry moderator but the poster wants to do his homework before making such a stupid statement such as this it beggars belief. Under Sharia Law it is not unknown for a rape victim to be dragged before a court and sentenced to be imprisoned and flogged, if she is very unlucky her rapist will be a married man then she could be charged with adultery and beheaded or stoned to death according to local custom and the rapist stands a good chance of walking free as it is all the woman’s fault.

She got a kiss on the cheek and she said it was the custom at this time of year

That has nothing to do with the article you linked to.
