Okay, so what % of women try lesbianism?

And what percentage would slap the ever-lovin’ hell out of you?

Two comments:

  1. That statistic about men being raped five times as often as women set off my bullshit sensor big time. In fact, I started a thread a while back about homosexuality in prison and this figure never came up (though I fully admit I cannot disprove it)

  2. The wife swapping thing. I think this may be a bit more common than you might expect. My wife (who was a virgin prior to meeting me) at one point asked how I felt about it because she was ‘vaguely curious’ about a cute male friend of ours who also had a girlfriend. After discussing it, however, we both concluded we would get incredibly jealous if we actually knew it was happening and develop complexes along the lines of ‘gee, I wonder if my friend is better in bed with my wife than me’. I’m fairly sexually inexperienced myself (only been with one other woman before my wife), but I wonder if we’d feel differently had we both had numerous sexual partners before meeting each other…

Re Men being raped statistic…

It might be true, if you were to count the number of rapes, not the number of victims.

I would imagine that, except in cases of spousal rape, most rape victims are raped once or twice. But, if you were in prison with someone who was sodomizing you, they’d have access to you every day.

Re rape statistics: My bad. Like I said, the statistics were IIRC, and I apparently did not RC.

However, according to the Bureau of Justice, rape rates in the general population in 1996 were slightly under 0,1% of persons aged 12 and over.

In the same year, 1 637 928 persons were in jail or prison (Bureau of Justice again), of whom 364 000 were raped. (Stop Prisoner Rape). So 22,2% of prisoners in the US were raped in 1996.

So in 1996 a prisoner was 222 times more likely to be raped than a member of the general population. Seems pretty obvious, I know, but it’s still something to think about.

Okay, now that we’ve cleared up the whole prison rape issue, can we get back to the main point; female posters talking about their lesbian experiences and/or fantasies. Feel free to take your time and describe them in prolonged extensive detail. JPEG’s would be a definite plus.

This was said many posts back, but I need to comment.

This sounds more like a trust problem than a lesbian problem. Any person who is as described above seems to be very untrusting of their girlfriend and of other people around them. They’re probably at tad possessive too.

And if you’re worried about your male or female friends stealing your gal, maybe you need new friends.

Of course, maybe I’m just paying far too much attention to handy’s posts.

I’ve never posted a “your grammar sucks” message before, but what the hell is “od” a typo for?

…but when you get blue, and you’ve lost all your dreams, there’s nothing like a campfire and a can of beans!

Ace,

I laughed out loud after reading your post, and then looking at my keyboard. You’ll notice that the “o” key is right next to the “i” key. Also, the “d” key is right next to “s”. I’ve never seen or heard of somebody making two typo’s in a word with only two letters before. This has to be some kind of a record!

This reminds me of a line I heard on TV once (Family Ties I think). One of the girls in the family (not Malory, the other one), commenting on a boy at her school who writes graffitti on the walls: “You’d think if a word only has four letters, he’d get at least three of them right!” I always wondered how she knew what the word was supposed to be!

My guess is “od” is a typo for “is”, both typing fingers being accidentally shifted one to the right on a standard Qwerty keyboard, due to inclement drunkenness or anencephaly. Make of this what you will.

Bosda, liked the old you better. First MK now you.

Anyhow now that I’ve lamented the changeover. I’m with Little Nemo, rather than the hard statistics maybe some personal, ummm, testimonials ?

happily, there’s only a couple of sexual experiences i’ve missed. unhappily, doing/being done by another woman is one of them. {sigh}

thought for a long time my interest indicated i was just confused. after i decided it was a healthy obsession, i was stymied by the fact that i didn’t know how to approach another woman w/out scaring her. after the stuff written above, i guess i should just ask around. doesn’t appear it would take long to make a hit!

gotta state, tho, whatever it’s like, it could never surpass sex w/ a guy. i think . . .

Heh… I know!

Q: Have you ever experienced a blackout?
A: Not that I recall.

Old joke among us alcoholics. It is common-- and sometimes the person does not even appear to be particularly drunk. I once talked to a lady who “came to” on a plane headed for England.

Anyway, it has been my observation that same-sex experimentation runs at about 50% or more for both sexes, but women will much more readily admit to it, for the various reasons cited above.

I can honestly say I have or have ever had any desire to be with a woman. I enjoy a man’s body way to much to even think a woman could turn me on.

A true friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out…there are Angels among us

errr. Have another drinky Sue… okay… again I shall try… There is absolutely no way you would ever find me desiring a woman… I like my body, but prefer it next to a man’s.

A true friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out…there are Angels among us

I do believe about 8% of my body would be of the lesbian persuasion with about 12% making up the celebate monk part and the other 80% absolutely loving pleasuring a man.

Oh… and incase you are interested… the 8% part it is located somewhere around the elbow between the wrist and forearm and I can’t really do anything with it. Thank you for asking tho.

I really try to be good but it just isn’t in my nature!

tyler, sue, pcw, i think you’re missing the point. in another thread i mentioned that i consider normal sex w/ a man to be 4-6 hrs at a time at least 5 times a week. & when i’m in a relationship w/ a guy, that’s what happens, even w/ someone who didn’t know he had it in him before. (&, yeah, ok, that’s a slight exaggeration: after 6 months or so, we might be down to only 2-3 hrs/day.)

but for all the stuff i’ve done, this is one thing i haven’t done. it’s a short list, but i’m still mightily curious. & i think that’s what this thread is about, who has tried it, why, why not.

& my responses are colored only slightly by listening the melissa etheridge cd playing right now!
