Everyone at work is talking about getting passports (I already have a valid one, and a Real ID, too). My supervisor said yesterday that she was getting her, and her 3 daughters, passport photos done that afternoon “Before we get any closer to The Handmaid’s Tale.” She used to be nominally a Republican, too, but didn’t vote for Trump.
When Trump talked about “making America great again,” I knew that was code for “Back when men had all the power,” but it never occurred to me it meant HUAC and black-listing.

If you mean for purposes of medical professionals not getting arrested should the proposed Oklahoma be passed, I think they already know.
I’m totally against this proposed Oklahoma law. But maybe I was a little misleading in my criticism. Only non-profit non-governmental organizations are targeted. Most U.S. hospitals fall into that category. But googling shows Oklahoma has some county-owned hospitals that would be exempt.
Oklahoma State University Medical Center probably counts as state-owned and thus exempt. But I guess there would be court battles over what counts as an NGO.

A proposed bill just tells you what sort of person it is that wrote the bill. All sorts of bills are proposed that never even make it to a vote, let alone to the Governors desk.
Come back when it passes, and before the Governor signs it.
You can also learn a lot by who speaks up for it, who speaks up against it, and who speaks up not at all.

What can we realistically do? But if Liberals get agitated over every right wing nutcase bill that is introduced without a hope of even getting a vote, we cant concentrate on the real issues.
There are hundreds of such bills introduced. This one just happened to catch the eye of a news channel, on a slow news day.
Good to know that hungry people being legally barred from getting food is not a real issue.

Flooding the zone is the whole media schtick of this administration. Planned. Discriminant. Deliberate. Throw so much shit into the system that the collective you can’t quantify what is important shit.
That a news item identified a local/state issue out of the muckleshoot of federal news is commendable.
And it’s “flooding the zone” right up to the day the sane folks in the Oklahoma legislature are scrambling to get enough votes to prevent passage.
Getting agitated over nutcase bills like that is how we can concentrate on the real issues. Spread the word and make sure everyone knows what the Republican Party really stands for, so that we can defeat them soundly.
