Oklahoma should play who?

And they did get it half right.

From the Old Testament or New Testament? Cite please

Being a self-acknowledged expert on college football, I’ll state that the best matchup for the championship would be USC vs. Oklahoma.

I think the Trojans can give the Sooners a real run for their money.

Oklahoma’s big bragging point seems to be the win over Texas, a team that Arkansas, currently 3-3 in SEC play, beat 38-28 in Austin.

LSU, meh. Good team, but they’ve still got to go to Oxford, Mississippi. I don’t think LSU will win that one.

I saw USC put a whippin’ on Auburn, and I was very impressed with them. They are sound in all phases of the game. If a USC/Ok matchup comes to pass, Oklahoma will have their hands full.

As for the Rose Bowl having some God given right to any particular matchup, the West Coasters seem to feel that way, but the rest of the country doesn’t care about it. We just want to see some good games. Iowa/USC in last year’s Orange Bowl was great!:stuck_out_tongue:

What the hell is your problem? Are you this humorless in real life? It was freaking hyperbole.

Neurotik: I believe it was notfrommensa’s joke, there. (And it was a good one! I was about to ask if it was from the Book of Joepa…)

New Testament, of course, since apparently we only knew of it after 1930.

In Paul’s letters to the Pasadenians, he quotes Jesus as saying “Many are called, but few are chosen. And those that are chosen should be from the Big Ten and the Pac Ten.”

How many OU players go in the first round of the draft this year?

I’m hopin’ that the mighty and cool Tennessee Football Titans take Teddy Lehman; in this situation, they could start a LB corps of Teddy, Rocky (Boiman, ND), and Rocky (Calmus, OU).

That’s almost as good as a Presidential tandem of Rob Bobb (former city official in Oakland, CA) and Bubb Rubb (internet celebrity, proponent of the Whistler tips - woo WOOOO).

I hate to tell everyone this, but USC still has one more loss scheduled. They play Oregon State on Dec. 6th. If Anderson can go this weekend without throwing any interceptions than I think he’ll have some confidence going into Civil War and then USC.
You can quote me on this on the 7th!

Purdue has a better shot of knocking off OSU than Oregon State has of knocking off USC.

Hey! Let a man have his dreams!

Oklahoma should travel back in time to January 15, 1967 to play the Green Bay Packers and assassinate Vince Lombardi, altering history to prevent the horrific future of a world ruled by our Wisconsin overlords.

The winner of the Big Ten conference, by far the toughest conference in college football.
