Old Comic Book Question

I was born in 1958. Take that into account.

I recall reading (at someone else’s house) an couple of issues of an odd comic book series. It was published by an off-brand “Mad Magazine” outfit, maybe “Cracked.”

A central feature of the story was summer camp run as a Nazi-style place, electric fences, guard dogs and all that. I presume such a comic could not be published nowadays. The whole thing had a sort of “Addams Family” feel to it.

Any idea what it might have been? Had I kept it and sold it on eBay, would I have become a millionaire?

Sounds like a 1966 story in The Adventures of Jerry Lewis, where Jerry brought his bratty nephew Renfrew to Camp Wack-A-Boy, run by the Nazi-like Uncle Hal (quasi-military uniform complete with jackboots, shaved head, monocle, scar, cigarette holder, etc.). Of course, this was not a Mad/Cracked type magazine (I have my own burning question about one of those–Wild magazine seems not to be the answer), but a regular, color DC comic.

The Killer Counselor of Camp Wack-A-Boy

That is it. It was a series with Jerry Lewis! Thank you.

Why would you assume this? I’m sure I’ve seen that story a dozen times in various media, including comics.

The answer to this question is inevitably no.
