Thank you SO much for being so strong. You are getting up and driving into hell every morning because you are the sort of government we need.

I’m seeing more and more people every time I go to the capital and some of them are young. A few are very frightened coal miners who have suddenly realized what tariffs mean to them.

And…if it is at all possible, try to stay home with the doors locked on 4/20. I’m hearing it won’t be as peaceful and happy as most 4/20’s are

So the weather turned into mostly warm rain today and the humidity is up. I can tell that I’m getting acclimatized, I’m not noticing the humidity nearly as much as when we moved in.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year already. Happily we will be done with all of the renovations after the insulation guys are done. Of course I want new paint, but that something we can do ourselves, room by room. This place will be much easier to paint, vaulted ceilings aren’t really a thing in WV.

When I came home tonight, I looked into my french doors from the highway. Jolene was all snoozed out on her bird watchin chair, just dressing up the house like only cats can do.

I’m seeing a whole bunch of police cars going screaming by and am hoping it isn’t as horrible as Baker’s experience this morning. But, I need to go out to the fence to look…
