In this thread, the OP wanted to know the name of the song in the Punch Drunk Love trailer, and it wasn’t a woman singing, and from what I can tell, he was never given the correct answer. You see, I, too, remember the song, even today, and I’ve been hunting high and low for it.
So, for posterity, I found it. It’s called “Here We Go”, by Jon Brion.
Just in case anyone else was still wondering, as I was.
