Waves. Still alive, still stitching, still reading but fingers don’t like the keyboard when there is a threaded needle around.
So a while back, I ordered a bird feeder pole with four hangers. Those sort of things come in sections so tend to wobble. I know this because I had one at our last place as well, but it was in the backyard and he only went out there to deal with the trash.
This pole is in the front yard and he sees it all the time. I’ve watched him try to straighten it out daily and he even took a level to it which worked nicely for about a day. I finally agreed that we could go to Lowes and pay a whole lot of money for a not-wobbly pole but he couldn’t find any with four hangers.
Today he went out and bought a 5 ft length of PVC pipe, put it over the pole and used the same rattle can of black paint on them both. This stabilized the pole and looked nice.
Then a cardinal perched on the top of the pole and pooped on it.
