Can’t believe I didn’t update last night - sorry for worrying everyone. Surely you fretted over my absence, right?

First, {{{nellie}}} glad the surgery was OK and I hope the pain diminishes soon. I’ve seen ads for Spoonful of Comfort - do report on it, please!
Second, the day is starting with 54 Ferrets, headed to mid-70s and possible t-boomers later. We’re going to clear the boat of tools and miscellaneous detritus ahead of a day on the water tomorrow with the grands (and Daughter, SIL has to work.)
Third, I had a busy yesterday. Along with 4 loads of laundry, I rollsucked up enough hair to build another dog, ran a damp mop over the kitchen floor to clean up the evidence of drip and drool spots that Otis spread about, and then mowed the front and back yards! We went to Salsa’s for supper and I decided to try their veggie quesadilla - quite yum. Then we met with Daughter & SIL to effect the transfer of Tobias to us since they were taking Roxy to some sort of evaluation session (I didn’t get all the details.)
Once home, the lad helped me water my flower boxes out front. Then we took a walk and he ran “super fast” to show me he could. And back at the house again, we played cards, then he sat on my lap to watch some TV till his family came to retrieve him. I crashed early and woke to a strangely disturbing dream. I have since breakfasted and started the ice maker.
Otis is definitely back to normal. He was trying to eat my hands last night and he’s snarfing down his food as usual. Ziva wandered out earlier and ate some treats. FCD is up and dressed, so I guess I’ll need to head to the shower soon. And so our day begins.
