swampy, precisely, if I went an hour later I would almost certainly be on a wait list for at least 30-40 minutes, so eating early works best. On most days I only have two meals, an early one (between 10am-noon) and the late one (5-7pm). In between there is Diet Pepsi and a couple of snacks, depending on my calorie count. Sunday and Mondays are my ‘eat out and damn the calories’ days.
nellie, happy dog-sitting. If this goes well and word of mouth spreads, you might find yourself inundated anyway. And good on you for being a true friend to Ms. Dog’s person. A lot of people have nightmares from their life they never disclose (outside of their behavior) and I’m glad she sought therapy. And hopefully the kids will grow out of the heavy-foot syndrome.
FCM, a 90+ year old woman in the last gasps of her life had suddenly moved in with you and upset the whole dynamic you and FCD had for all these years. Damn, woman, it’s amazing you’ve held together this well. Vent whenver you need too.
Pilot, enjoy Panama. Depending on when I eat it and what I eat, early meal is breakfast or lunch, and the evening is dinner. Think it depends on where you were born/raised.
Cookie, my first thought was Bacon and Grits, being here in N. Ali-bama, but Biscuits and Gravy makes good sense. Not a tuna eater, glad you enjoyed it.
Coppertone, a 100F can sound nice, but believe me, it can be miserable.
JtC, sounds like you’ve already made a friend down there in West Virginny. And just to catch up, Hubs is in W VA. with you but is heading back to AZ to sell the house, right?
Gym pedaling has been done (man, I must sweat a pound of fluid into my tee shirt for those 90+ minutes of pedaling) and going to fix a couple of sammiches here for dinner in a bit. Will call my brother in around a half-hour to check in with him, then start planning the short week (Mon-Wed) before heading off to Knoxville for the soccer tournament. Catch all y’all on the next MMP.
