Morning, mumpers! It’s currently 14c/57f with a predicted high of 19c/66f, and mostly cloudy. Weather app is all “meh” about it…“It’s merely fucking average outside. Sort of like all of the Michael fucking Bay movies.” It is indeed average and cloudy out there, but it’s not precipitatin’ which is always a good thing when you have to be out and about amongst the commuting masses.
I was up stupidly early and on a train about half an hour before the one I would normally be on. Got to the Big City station at 20 past the hour and found that the half-past the hour connecting train has been axed from the timetable and replaced with one at 20 past, and another that I could have caught at 23 past. I didn’t have time to scoot from platform 4 all the way up the stairs, over to platform 12, and down the stairs for the 23 past, so had to wait 20 minutes for the 43 past…which was then moved from P12 to P11, necessitating more stairs. Definitely getting my steps in this morning!
