What is the world’s oldest magazine (i.e. first in publication)? A friend of mine wants to use this information in a presentation and can’t find it anywhere. I know the teeming million’s won’t let me down.

“The oldest continuing periodical in the world is Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, published in
London, Great Britain, which first appeared on 6 March 1665. Curtis’s Botanical Magazine has been in
continuous publication since 1 February 1787 as several ‘parts’ a year forming a series of continuously
numbered volumes.”
