I caught the USA win Gold in Female Beach Volleyball. ((With NBC loving Volleyball, Swiming and running, and nothing else, its very hard to miss.))
What is up with the tape in all the weird places? I’ve seen it in a few other events.
Do you mean the black stuff on the USA volleyball player’s right shoulder? I assumed that was some kind of space-age heated compression pack that she was using to soothe an injury sustained earlier in the Games.
That, and other Olympians. I believe NBC said that one runner had tape on her leg. IIRC, it was forked much like lightining is.
It’s called kinesio tape. You must’ve had your tv on mute and internet filter set to block all Olympic content for the last two weeks.
