Omarosa appeared on Larry King’s show last night along with Bill, Amy, Nick and Troy. Same old crap. Regarding FHM photos and the fact she wasn’t asked to pose, she claimed she was in politics and was going to run for office, and very condescendingly toward Amy claimed she wouldn’t want *those kinds * of pictures to be taken of her. Got busted by Amy for saying she was complaining about not being asked by the second week of tasking and resented quite a bit that she wasn’t asked. Omarosa of course acted shocked and like she just couldn’t imagine what Amy was talking about, yada, yada, yada.
And she claimed she lost the Clairol commercial because they just couldn’t get her hair to do right in the shower. Funny! I seem to remember something a boycott having something to do with it!
But mostly, this thread is about how glad I am to see that here, 15 hours later, not one mention of it has been made. Maybe this means that her fifteen minutes are indeed up and people are hip to and no longer caring about her.
Man, I hope so.
And oh, yeah…for those of you who didn’t see it, Trump said he would pay for Troy’s college education, anywhere he wanted to go. Needless to say, Troy was shocked and overwhelmed and about as flattered as I suppose is possible. Later in the show King asked him if he had decided where he wanted to go. He said Harvard to honor Kwame and then Wharton (where Trump went). After that, he says he’ll be working for Trump for sure.
I am proud to be a part of the boycot that kept this lunatic from getting that Clairol gig - and I love that she got busted by Amy! I wish I could’ve seen the show just for that! Good to see this bitch’s credibility get a little more battered. I’m sure Amy felt really satisfied doing it, too, especially after Osamarama pulled that condescending “I new you’re a new journalist, you need to check your facts” crap on her when she (Amy) was doing her hosting bit on Extra (or whatever of those shows she did).
Oh, and I think it’s great that Trump is sending Troy to the college of his choice! That’s a really amazing gesture - good for him!
I’m not sure if this is a put-on or not, but since you live in another country you probably don’t know much about the reality television show “The Apprentice,” that has been airing here.
Omarosa is the name of one of the participants in the show. She is almost maniacally deluded. She causes all sorts of problems, acts like she better than everyone else, lies like a rug and either feigns surprise – as though it’s all a ridiculous misunderstanding – or redirects the focus onto something not even remotely germane and then sits there with this insipid grin on her face as though everything was just peachy.
She is totally deluded as to what she is really like and there seems to be no cure for it because you can actually see her tune out and ignore any type of critism or suggestion that there’s anything at all wrong with her. She’s a legend in her own mind and virtually everyone here hates her.
I loved what one of the posters here said when someone asked on this board if anyone thought Kwame (another contestant) actually was attracted to her and in fact wanted to “nail” her. The other poster said he’d like to “nail her”…“to a telephone pole and throw tomatoes at her…!”
Well i live in america and i had no clue who Omarosa was, and have only vaguely heard of the apprentice. I did try google first though and came up with this.
And to answer the OP, no, I couldn’t care less (though I am sorry I missed the other contestants). I want that deluded, mentally ill sociopath to die off into obscurity as fast as is entirely possible. Ignoring her (hopefully few) appearances will help serve to accomplish that.
I only watched a few bits of The Apprentice, but even in that brief time I came away with the impression that Omarossa is one of the most unpleasant people that I have seen on TV. Considering all the other reality shows, that’s really saying something.
Hopefully she fades away, quietly shrieking, into the night.
I’m actually happy you started this thread because I had no clue at all who Omarosa is/was, but i heard people talking about her on the radio, and I wanted to know what the big deal was.
I almost started a thread myself just to get the straight dope…
Thank you. I’m glad I able to be of help…although I can’t shake this icky feeling that even though you wanted to know about her, I was the one who told you. I feel like I should aplologize…and maybe take a shower.
Hey, I think that was me that said the tomatoes line!!! And all this time I thought nobody ever read my posts!!
I started to watch some of Larry King last night and I had to change it…I just can’t take anymore of her…her obliviousness just drives me insane.
The Dateline special was the last straw for me. I thought the fact that she was still on the red carpet spouting off to the media about "Omorosa Talk Shows, Books, etc.) when Bill got to the after party was completely without class. Let the winner have some time in the spotlight for crissakes!
I think it’s hilarious that Omarosa told Larry King that she’s a ‘die-hard Democrat.’ Let’s see…she’s quick to play the race card, was caught flat-out lying on national TV and is probably the single person that everyone in the country hates with a passion. The public can’t even stand the thought of her hawking shampoo!
The Kerry camp must’ve LOVED this! ‘A Vote For Kerry Is A Vote For Omarosa!’
If the Democrats were smart they would’ve told her to shut up, or at least paid her big bucks to loudly support Bush.
I’m just so happy to hear from so many of my fans in this thread. It’s good to know that people do see how I’ve been villainized. You know, when you’re not only the only black person, but the only successful person, the only person who’s actually worked in the White House for an actual president, you just have to expect petty jealousy from others. Plus, I’m a woman as well, and neither the men nor the women could stand that about me. As for the person in the thread who called me the n-word, I’m not even going to dignify your insult by acknowledging what you said. Thanks again, everyone. When I get my appearances schedule updated, I’ll share it with you all!
slu, yeah, that was too damn funny! Just so you’ll know, I’ve told quite a few people about your comment. They all got a kick out of it, too. In the future I’ll try to let people know when I appreciate their humor. They may feel that no one’s paying any attention, the same as you. Thanks for the laugh.
And along that same line…
Libertarian, my hat’s off to you. In just one paragraph you have truly captured the essense of Omarosa. (Aaauuugggghhh…Damn! Doesn’t that sound like a line of perfume? “Essense of Omarosa!” Almost makes me gag…(although it does have a pleasant meter )!
Let’s hope that neither she nor one of the perfume companies ever reads this post.
I realize it sounded like a bit of a whoosh or put on, but I was serious. I thank you for filling me in. Judging by the standards of people on reality shows we get here, this clown sounds like she’s their queen. I will avoid at all costs.
cheers!
I never heard of her either. In fact I opened the thread to find out why on earth the Larry King show would be featuring a segment on Japanese urinary incontinence as a sexual fetish.
