According to authorities, the man and his daughter went to a residence in Millville on April 20 to have a conversation about the assault. When they got there, the 17-year-old boy and the man got in a fight at the front door, and the teen started beating the man’s head with a metal baseball bat, prosecutors said. The teen’s father joined in the fight, taking a metal flashlight to the man’s head, according to the release. The teen also hit the man’s daughter in the head during the fight, authorities said.
Which one?
Because, from the article, I don’t see a good side. Father goes looking for trouble (see his picture? He looks like the type itching for a confrontation.) under the guise of “protecting his family” and finds a father also willing to “protect his family”. Sadly, hilarity doesn’t ensue.
Seems like penis ensued. Waay waay too much penis.
So instead of a beat-down, they engaged in a beat-off?

It all fits a pattern of cruelty from the Trump administration in its efforts to deport as many people as it can. The White House doesn’t believe in due process or following the law, or even standards of basic decency.
It’s only a matter of time before an innocent homeowner gets croaked by ICE committing a home invasion on the wrong house.
More than that, there’s going to be gun battles where people on both sides of the ICE home invasion get shot.
I don’t know what it’s going to take to wake up the majority of Americans to the fact that we are now under the domination of fascist thugs.
Not until they get directly affected, in ways that they can’t hand-wave away.
Meanwhile, there will be a lot of wreckage and carnage…
The White House will be sure to invent a justification to handwave it away. Trump will probably hold a crudely-Photoshopped picture of the victim(s) with gang tattoos or an improvised explosive device.
I was listening to the sheriff of King County, Washington (the most populated county in the state, it includes Seattle, and it’s my county too) on my drive home today. She was on NPR talking about the challenges her department has been facing since even before Covid. The subject of ICE came up, and she mentioned that they have absolutely no problem working alongside federal agencies like the FBI, ATF, or even Homeland Security in general. But in her words, “ICE is a whole different story.” She said they run into conflict with that agency constantly, because they are frequently trying to do things that are inappropriate or trying to force her department to do things that they shouldn’t and absolutely would never do. It is literally the only agency that they have problems with.
That’s saying a lot. There are a lot of agencies being run by Trump’s goons but ICE is extra special when it comes to just being reckless, cruel, and frankly illegal.
Said another way, ICE has had a few years head start of being populated with racist assholes, rather than decent professional policemen. They’ve been attitudinally and culturally rotten for a along time. But now the restraint against assholicness from the top has been replaced with cheerleading.
The type? The “guise”? Not asking many questions here, are you? Just leaping at conclusions based on one photo. I hope you never serve on a jury that requires careful consideration of evidence.
