Your friend and hers, the distinguished Representative Cynthia McKinney, is currently the subject of scrutiny for her alleged assault on a police officer. Police are seeking an arrest warrant for the ugly and ridiculous dolt.
Since there does not seem to be any possible reason to support this dim-witted cow besides reverse racism, the charming McKinney (who at least realizes the sources of her success) immediately played the race card, blaming the police officer who prevented her from violating security rules for “race profiling”.
In a particularly stupid attempt to confuse the issue, the apparently marginally retarded Congressmoron pointed to her courageous stand post-9/11, in which she spoke out for the right of police officers to make cell phone calls on duty. Cell phones seem to be important to this alleged person - some reports mention that she used her cell phone to strike the officer in question. This is reported to be the fifth time McKinney has had trouble with the notion that the rules apply to her, too.
The latest public embarassment from the Asshole from Atlanta comes a few days after her admission that she misused taxpayer money to purchase airplane rides for her supporters, and a few months after she agreed to pay a $33,000 fine and return up to $72,000 in illegal campaign contributions.
This in addition to her consistently anti-Israeli statements and positions (remember her father blaming her election loss on the “J-E-W-S”?).
There was a two year period when this corrupt and racist bitch was booted from the august halls of the Capitol. Why not again?
Either that, or prison. I’m sure she would fit right in.
Well Shodan, at least you are true to form. Trying to take the heat off DeLay by pointing to what you think is a bad Dem. Bravo, I applaud your consistancy. Now fuck off.
I’ve read a few versions of this event, and while it seems to warrant a knee-jerk condemnation, I would like to have more detail.
Just to play Devil’s Advocate, is it possible that the officer was acting in a snide or blatantly offensive manner? McKinney seems to have assumed he would recognize her-- had they had interractions before? Could he have recognized her, and chose to pretend that he didn’t just to mess with her?
Now, nothing excuses hitting an officer. She claims that he “inapprpriately touched” her. Where? Did he grab her arm, or perhaps “accidently” touch her breast? It might be more understandable-- not excusable, mind-- but understandable if he did touch her in a “naughty place.”
Still, she should have worn her ID pin, I full agree. The entire incident should never have happened, but until I know all of the detaills, I’m not going to condemn McKinney or the officer.
So, what sort of response do we suppose Shodan is hoping for? Let’s try:
"GASP!! Democrats are BAAAD!!! Shodan is RIGHT!!! DeLay is a PERSECUTED SAINT BETRAYED BY LIBRULS!!!
Responsive enough?
Right. Any all similarities to the title of the DeLay thread (“Ding dong the witch is dead”) are a coincidence. If you think about it, they’ve only got four words and some rhymes in common.
So you pit an incedent that is in contention as to what the facts of the case are, but add the Isaac Hayes incedent as a mere after thought?
She deserves a pitting for the abuse of taxpayer dollars. And I would agree to that pitting. You see, I’m against corruption. But you may be reticent to bring corruption up or bury it in a pitting, since the Republicans appear to have taken corruption as a party platform.
And that fitting right in at prison comment, was that racist? I’d like a further explanation of your thoughts there.
She wasn’t wearing her identification. She also has a history of playing the (race) victim. This whole thing would have been a non-incident if she didn’t hold that ridiculous press conference with Danny Glover and Harry Bellafonte. I guess Jesse Jackson must’ve been busy that day.
