What I find interesting about this is that conjoined twins are identical twins who haven’t fully split into two embryos.
The last 4 (?) pregnancies from news reports were apparently all twins, including this pair.
I expected they were all fraternal twins, indicating that two eggs were routinely released per ovulation cycle.
But identical twins are pure random chance. Identical twins are neither more nor less likely if there are other twins in the family.
I’m not sure what this says about me, or about the current state of the USA, but before reading & watching I expected there was a racial component to the attack. The article doesn’t mention race, but the vid clearly shows both victim and attacker are young (or at least non-old), white, and male.
Cancer quackery is alive and well in Arizona, where a long-running battle between the Arizona Naturopathic “Medical Board” and naturopath Colleen Huber is apparently headed for the state supreme court.
Huber owns and runs the “Nature Works Best Medical Clinic” in Tempe, where she treats cancer patients with “nutrients”.
None of these “nutrients”, alone or in combination, have been found to be effective anticancer treatments.
The naturopathic board wound up revoking Huber’s license because she wouldn’t tell a patient her Magic Nutrient Formula (she claimed it was a trade secret) and entered less than revelatory progress notes in the patient’s chart.
I dunno, seems like terrific documentation for her or others to follow up on. 
Naturally, the naturopathic board didn’t discipliine her for inflicting dangerous quackery on patients, but instead for concealing her “trade secret” formula, and for lousy chart notes.
The Arizona naturopathic board is a bad joke. Other such state boards are likely the same or worse.
Huber appealed her license revocation to state superior court and lost, but won a decision in state appeals court, which sent the case back for a jury trial. I can’t recall ever hearing that a license revocation could only be decided by a jury, but there you go. It’s Arizona, Jake.
Anyway, as of 2026 the state supreme court will apparently decide. Meanwhile, cancer patients can still get their IV “nutrients” at the clinic.

I hate when naturopathy is called “alternative medicine”. That’s like painting a rock red and calling it “alternative fruit”.
It is an alternative to medicine, perhaps it is a proof-reading error?

I hope they bump up the charges from manslaughter/negligent homicide to murder aforethought.
So is chiropractic, which is a big deal where I live. One local DC recently lost his license for doing an inappropriate procedure on a person, which left them quadriplegic.
There have been respectable and even distinguished people named John Stalker.
This may not be one of them.
Let’s not rush to judgement though. He has an honest face.

I know almost nothing about medicine, but I expect the typical eleven-year-old is small enough that childbirth is going to be difficult, so medical intervention would be a good idea.

Speaking of medical intervention, the Massachusetts medical board has revoked the license of a physician involved in storming the Capitol on Jan. 6.
