Does the NHS have the ability to respond with “Since the patient has denied wanting to be seen by any health care provider, we declare that we’ve done as much as we can and they’re on their own”, or something to that effect?
I tried to find something but, even ignoring that the current results on google are saturated with this article (and similar ones), it seems like this is a pretty consistent problem.
Even going back years, it’s just article after article of ‘too much violence towards medical workers’ and ‘we have to do something about it’.
I didn’t see anything thing more along the lines of ‘if you abuse the staff, you’ll lose your coverage’.
I’d WAG that, at the very least, they could be trespassed from non-emergency facilities (like getting a routine ultrasound).
I know that’s the UK, not the US, but I’m reminded of my harassment training at work (I work for state government) reminding us that rules against harassment apply to customers too, and we can report them as much as we can a supervisor or coworker.
Fortunately for him, there have been a lot of advances in robotics lately.
I also wonder if he thinks he’s just accommodating her wishes after all the times she has yelled at him not to touch her.

Nope, the patient doesn’t want that, either. He doesn’t want anyone with any ethnic background. Mark his file as “resolved to patient’s satisfaction”, and just kick him out.
Before he became a laughingstock, I read one of Dr. Ben Carson’s autobiographies, and he told a story about hearing a family out in the waiting room talking about spooks, coons, and spades and he told his receptionist, “I’ll go out myself and greet them.” The looks on their faces when he introduced himself were priceless.
First off, any ethnic background? Wouldn’t that rule out, say, whites also, not to mention our entire species?
Second, his woman? Why am I not surprised a bigot like that also thinks he’s the owner of an adult female?
“My” can indicate ownership, or just association. Would you feel the same way about someone who said “my wife”?
You know, ethnics. Darker skin tones, funny accents*, weird clothes, objectionable headgear.
*though one of the ethnics objected to on the basis that the patient couldn’t understand what she was saying, was described in the story as having “a mild Yorkshire accent”. 
**when I had an ultrasound awhile back, I was a bit taken back that the sonographer, a thirty-ish white guy, had bare arms almost completely covered in tattoos. He seemed competent and professional though.
In general, I agree with you. But “my woman” smacks too much of “our women” as in “They’re stealing our women” to me.
