And it was just last week that two entirely different dipshit Kentucky legislators used the phrase “Jew them down” in a hearing. (To be fair, one of them was saying that you’re not supposed to use that term any more, which is about as woke as one can expect in Frankfort these days.)
I understand next week they’ll be doing The Merchant of Venice.
Also, if I had to guess (and presumably my guess is at least as good as that of the shit-for-brains antisemite Rep. Danny Bentley), I’d guess that the actual primary reason Jewish women tend to have lower than average rates of cervical cancer is that we* don’t have all this delusional avoidance of HPV vaccination. Also most of us have sufficient socioeconomic privilege to have access to regular GYN health care, including cancer screenings.
*Disclaimer: self-including in this category on the grounds of 50% ethnic and cultural Jewish heritage, not trying to appropriate the identity in general.
Wasn’t there also thought to be a correlation with circumcised partners?
Though a) I don’t know whether that’s still considered to be accurate and b) in the USA, at least, there are a lot of circumcised non-Jews; plus which some (I have no idea of the percentage, except that it’s certainly not zero) Jewish women have sex with non-Jewish men; so both of those would dilute the effect even if it exists.
"We got a representative up here who [wants to] see if you can Jew ’em down a little bit on the price,” (State Sen. Rick) Girdler said. “That ain’t the right word to use,” Girdler continued. “Drop ’em down, I guess.”
“Both representatives soon apologized. (State Rep. Walker) Thomas explained that the phrase was second nature.”
“I sincerely regret using that term and apologize to anyone harmed by my use of it. This is not who I am, nor is it what my faith leads me to be,” he said."
Well alrighty then.
There’s a laugh-a-minute when the Kentucky state legislature is in session.
Translation: If I stop to think about it, I know I shouldn’t use that phrase because it will get me into trouble. Getting myself into trouble is not who I am.
